A new decentralized stablecoin from USDDex Japanese company will be available for purchase by crypto investors 1 month before its launch on cryptocurrency exchanges in a limited number with 45% bonus.  

During the “Bitcoin & Blockchain beyond the hype,” an event organized by the University of Naples Federico II and the Blockchain Education Network (BEN) association in Italy on January 18, various experts participated including Professors, PhD students and University engineering students.

While the rest of the crypto market has been stagnant for quite some time, market analysts are noticing the growing spread, and the rise in the number of transactions involving stablecoins in blockchain. Experts at ICOBox evaluated the pros and cons of these "stable coins" and came up with their conclusion regarding their chances to replace bitcoin.

As the crypto market recovered from the last drop, we found Tether (USDT) in fifth place by market cap,  just next to Stellar. The stablecoin, which in 2017 was not even in the top 20, turned out to be the most popular token, overtaking EOS and Bitcoin Cash.

Tether Limited, the issuer of the USDT digital currency, has destroyed 500 million units of the embattled stablecoin.

Switzerland is planning to tokenize its national currency, responding to USDT and El Petro. The idea behind this new stablecoin is rather traditional for the sector - to combine all the pros of a cryptocurrency and eliminate its main shortcoming - high volatility.
