The blockchain "system" promises to be able to scale back, by a wide margin, owing to the "power" of the internet platforms on which many of the current services offered through geolocation, such as Uber, Google, Airbnb, Amazon, Alibaba, to name the main ones. These companies are trying to integrate blockchain into their geolocation apps so they can serve the public better, in an effective, secure and transparent manner.
Uber claims it wants to go public in the second half of 2019, however, it has made no significant steps towards achieving this target. Is it possible that the company is fooling everyone and will surprise the public with a securities token launch?
Garrett Camp, Uber chairman, has an intention to create his own digital currency. His main goal is to fix all technical and other problems which other cryptocurrencies currently have. Furthermore, he plans to revive the original idea of a coin: an instant, affordable, and borderless means of payment for the masses.
