The first Cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, was introduced about a decade ago alongside blockchain technology. Both innovations have the disruptive potential for the digitization of many industries in the future within the coming decade.

Humanity has always been trying to look into the future for profit. The idea that you can peek beyond the horizon and take the advantages of what you see, having beaten the tribesmen, is so seductive that people try out all possible ways of doing it, including the most exotic ones. Today’s technical progress, in comparison with such ancient methods as reading palm lines or tea leaves, enables forecast methods which can be proven.

Human beings from every corner of the community, with absolutely nothing in common except for a shared hardship suffered. All have surprisingly found themselves closed out minus any official warning by their payment provider - account frozen, lifeline broken apart, funds seized. And for what reason precisely? For the formless crime of not conforming with the terms of service. In the real world, however, the only criminals are the financial providers that committed these acts against their customers.

In the modern world humanity has never been more connected. We use technology to connect with others by using social media, which has become a staple in modern society. In today's hyper connected world communication has never been easier.

As we progress further into a hyperconnected world, our dependence on technology has never been more apparent. Groundbreaking technologies continue to shape our modern existence and our reliance on such developments is at an all time high. Certain technological  discoveries serve as a benchmark for the progress of humanity in an ever connected world.

Humanity is facing its biggest challenge since the Ice Age. No jokes. Economical progress, technological expansion and exponential growth made the Earth a comfortable however highly insecure, unstable and exposed place to dwell.
