October 5, 2016 – The government of Dubai, UAE, has announced its plans to use Blockchain technology for all government documents by 2020.

This decision was taken earlier today by Crown Prince of Dubai and chairman of Dubai Executive Council Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Dubai shows a major interest in using Blockchain technology. Recently the capital of modern engineering wonders in UAE announced a new program "Dubai Future Accelerators", along with the Global Blockchain Council launched in the beginning of 2016.
