On April 10, HTC disclosed a plan to support its flagship blockchain phone, EXODUS 1s, with a Monero mining feature. This signifies a start of mobile mining, which holds a promise to bring power costs down and make cryptocurrency mining more decentralized.

High Tech Computer (HTC) Corporation, a Taiwanese consumer electronics firm based in the New Taipei City, recently unveiled a new entry-level blockchain-based smartphone dubbed the HTC Exodus 1S that is basically targeting digital currency users and investors.

The HTC Exodus 1 blockchain tech and crypto phone could play an important part in building the next Internet. Conversely, the firm is proud to explain its commitment to the device, which it believes could have significant results in shaping and building the future of the Internet itself.

To date, the Blockchain HTC Exodus 1 has, appropriately, only been available for purchase with Bitcoin, Ether, Ripple or other big cryptocurrencies. With effect from today, however, all interested parties will be in a position to obtain HTC’s blockchain (DLT) smartphone via traditional (fiat) ways such as USD. The smartphone is so far being sold online at around $699.

Ten years from the rollout of the first ever Android phone, HTC has taken the covers off its DLT-powered smartphone, known as Exodus.

HTC is soon releasing its blockchain-powered mega smartphone called HTC Exodus, probably at the end of 2018.
