Ripio by BitPagos - $1,9 mln in Series A


$1.9m in Series A. Argentinian bitcoin startup Ripio, a subsidiary of the BitPagos, raised funds from investors including Huiyin Blockchain Ventura. Ripio representative Juan Mendez told CoinDesk: "BitPagos is a brand that was too linked to merchants and B2B payment processing and we needed a new brand that suits our mission best". The company plans to raise an additional $400,000 in funding over the next 90 days via AngelList, bringing its total funding to $2.3m
