The Worldwide Digital Identification Association (WDIA) will be hosting an exclusive event dedicated to personal data protection, online identification and digital IDs on December 18 in Swiss Geneva. The 2019 Personal Data Meetup will bring together professionals in technology, law, regulation, marketing and blockchain.
“We took the liberty to start what is set to become the most important event in the KYC/AML industry. Today’s industry of personal data processing and storing is a fragmented part of economy, which is badly structured. Aside from the basic region-specific laws and regulations, there are no global unified standards, and on top of that only a scarce choice of reliable technologies is available. The same is true with discussion spaces: there is no key forum for industry professionals to share their views. We are confident that the 2019 Personal Data Conference will fill the gap,” WDIA President Yury Myshinskiy says.
Current tech fragmentation leads to companies repeatedly losing masses of their own and their clients’ data. Same problems affect clients: large variety of standards, forms and procedures results in enormous time losses in offline offices while filling in questionnaires and waiting in queues. WDIA brings together the best minds in the sector to discuss and properly address these issues.
One solution to be presented and discussed during the conference will be Multipass, a revolutionary technology that implements a single window principle in KYC/AML and personal identification. Solutions of this sort and scale allow for a significant cut in users’ time spent for different registrations, setting accounts and signing up for new services.
The conference will take place on the 18th of December 2019 at the Metropol Hotel conference room, Geneva, Switzerland.
