On the 2nd March Standards Australia released its Roadmap for Blockchain Standards Report, which outlines how the organisation will work to deliver measures to support the privacy, security and interoperability of Blockchain systems. The report is part of a wider initiative led by Standards Australia to develop international blockchain standards, with the support of the Australian Government. FinTech Australia CEO Danielle Szetho said the release of the report was a welcome development, which helped put Australia’s fintech industry in a strong global position to take advantage of this technology.

Hyperledger announced the release of the blockchain Fabric. Сommissioning the first open corporate blockchain was set for the end of March. More than 120 participating organizations have worked on the Hyperledger Fabric project. Through the development, large companies will be able to create distributed applications for their necessity. Hyperledger CEO Brian Behlendorf noted: "Our hope is that it is code that people can put into serious production."
The financiers of Ireland are developing a new blockchain-platform. The consulting company Deloitte and the Irish Funds Association launched the pilot "RegChain", which uses the technology of the Ethereum and InterPlanetary File system. The purpose of the project is to monitor and analyze transactions, and then organize the data in the finished financial statements. The development is also attended by the companies Northern Trust, State Street and Metzler. The CEO of the Irish Funds Association Pat Lardner notes: “The successful completion of this project is an important first step in demonstrating the power of blockchain for regulatory reporting and industry collaboration around innovation”.
