A cryptocurrency-focused financial-services firm, Circle, acquired on 26 February one of the most famous on the financial market cryptocurrency exchanges, Poloniex, for $400 mln. This step turned Circle into one of the most powerful and influential businesses in the crypto market.

Updated: 9 of 17 altcoin communities, that are going to be delisted from Poloniex, are not dead and have commented on the situation.

On April 18, 2017, Poloniex published an announcement that it is going to delist 17 altcoins. However, there are signs that someone knew about Poloniex’s decision to remove some altcoins before the official announcement on Twitter.

Poloniex has recently announced its plans to delist 17 cryptocurrencies on May 2, 2017.

Customers of one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Poloniex, have recently received messages stating that this cryptocurrency exchange has to shut down all operations in Washington state, US. Washington residents have only two weeks to close any open orders and withdraw funds from Poloniex.

Today, September 22 2016, one of the largest Bitcoin and cryptocurrency exchanges, Poloniex, announced that it will temporarily close all operations for residents of New Hampshire starting October 6, 2016.
