The US House of Representatives has passed a non-binding Resolution 835 that calls on the United States to adopt a national policy for technology to promote "alternative non-fiat currencies" and support for blockchain technology. 

To date, this resolution doesn’t bring any legal obligation.But the next session in November may raise more specific questions regarding the functioning of Bitcoin.
