Recently, crypto exchange Gate announced the integration of Gate Pay's payment services into the development of Georgian crypto payment startup CityPay. The new service will allow merchants to accept payments in cryptocurrencies. This includes a wide range of services, including booking hotels, shopping in supermarkets or paying in restaurants.

According to the reports, Wendy's restaurants have already partnered with CityPay.io, allowing customers to pay for their orders in cryptocurrency.

In addition, Binance, one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges, announced the opening of a new regional hub in Georgia to accelerate talent acquisition, promote blockchain education, and accelerate crypto adoption in the region.
