Blockchain will Transform Public Administration in Italy

The use of blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI) and other major innovative technologies in public administration (PA) is a significant factor that will help in enhancing the transparency and quality of services offered to the Italian citizens. Recently, the government of Italy has taken many steps to implement strategic projects such as a 3-year plan for public information technology, industry 4.0, made in Italy, smart city and others.

The public information technology will assist administrations to offer high quality services, carry out better decisions basing on the reliable data, and guide change of its individual internal processes, and organizational replicas as well.

The impact of digital transformation on creating value will animate the 30th edition of the Forum PA, which will occur from Tuesday 14th to 16th May, 2019 at the new Palazzo dei Congressi ‘La Nuvola’ in Rome Eur. How best the country can be transformed digitally is on every responsible citizen’s mind. As innovation continues to gain traction in the entire world, Italy has decided to use blockchain technology in different ways, periods, conditions and under different sectors. According to the recent research by Digital360, the new technology is used in public administration by 29% in the country, as Coinidol revealed. It has even been discovered by LinkedIn, that blockchain developers are having a high demand just like a hot cake.
