Monthly Analytics: 5 Biggest Gainers of July

July started sluggishly but then it saw several of the popular cryptocurrencies increase in value. But surprisingly enough, no major cryptocurrency ranked among top 10 coins, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Ripple, has surfaced on the list.

August is just one week old but we have seen a significant gain in some tokens such as MineBee (MB) that has increased by over 3,401%, DOS Network (DOS, is up by 485.73%), DUO Network Token (DUO, up by 470.09 percent), Small Love Potion (SLP, up by 406.79 percent).

Also Rapidz ( RPZX), Centric Cash ( CNS), MyBit ( MYB) surged by a staggering 265.52%, 264.32% and 257.69%, respectively. On the other side, Cream Finance ( CREAM) plunged more than 60% of its price value, mislaying its top cryptoasset to invest status. However, the top 5 gainers of July are listed below:

1. Band Protocol (BAND)

In the last 30 days, BAND, which is in the 62nd rank by market cap (MC), has managed to gain by over +483.74% making it to top other cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC).

At press time, Band Protocol is changing hands at $8.18 (24h) and is up by 10 percent, with a market cap of about $167.6 million and volume of $67.6 mln, according to the data by coinmarketcap ( CMC).

The highest and lowest price of BAND in the past 30 days has been $8.55 and $1.54, respectively. The cryptocurrency seen its all-time-high of $8.55 on August 6, 2020, and its all-time-low of $0.204181 on November 25, last year.

2. Edgeware (EDG)

Edgeware, ranked 2165th, has been trading like a hot cake especially in this very month, a thing that has helped it to touch its all-time-high of $0.027718. last month, EDG gained by +291.27 percent.

Currently, EDG/USD is trading at $0.025761 (7.43 percent), with a volume of $1.387 mln. The month of March when Covid-19 was very intense, EDG seen its all-time-low of $0.001383 (Mar 13, 2020).

3. Ocean Protocol (OCEAN)

In the last 30 days, Ocean Protocol (ranked 81st), gained by +233.77 percent, and at the time of writing, OCEAN is trading at around $0.32657 (13.36%), with a MC of over $115.258 million and volume (24h) of $7.2 mln.

The token has registered its all-time-high of $0.336261 on August 07, 2020. Almost a year ago, OCEAN hit its all-time-low of $0.013653 (Aug 10, 2019). This shows a visible steady progress in the market.

4. Swipe (SXP)

Swipe also showed a strong muscle in the cryptocurrency market when it gained by +225.93 percent in the past 30 days. At present, SXP, which is in the 76th position, is changing hands at around $1.89 (4.61%), with a MC of $124.9 mln, and volume of $76.124 million.

Actually, on July 25, 2020, Swipe hit its all-time-high of $2.26. During the peak months of Coronavirus pandemic, SXP made its all-time-low of $0.160996 (Mar 18, 2020).

5. Elrond (ERD)

In July, Elrond, ranked 40th by MC, gained by over +176%. At press time, ERD is changing hands at $0.023598 (12.34 percent), with a MC of more than $314.4 mln and volume of $55.123 million.

On July 27, this year, ERD hit its all-time-high of $0.029489, and during the time when almost all countries in the world were under a lockdown and business paralyzed due to Covid-19 pandemic, ERD saw its record low of $0.000569 (Mar 13, 2020).
