Caricoin, a UK-based business, has signed a letter to the Bank of Jamaica to be approved as the first Bitcoin exchange in Jamaica and the Caribbean. The company has already launched a pilot exchange three months ago across the Caribbean and injected US$50,000 worth of free bitcoins into the system.
