TransCrypt has unveiled its beta payments platform to the public and added ICO expert David Drake to their Advisory Board.
Users can now download and use TransCrypt to send and receive payments in cryptocurrency via popular messaging platform Telegram. The initial public launch of the beta version of the app on the Google Play Store is the first step towards mainstream use of the application.
The app will make cryptocurrency payments easy and fast in a compliant and secure ecosystem, and as simple as sending a message. Users will be able to send and request money from contacts via the Telegram interface. Each user will be required to create an instant wallet within the app, which can then be recognised if shared with a friend. The app will recognise the wallet address anywhere within the previous ten messages of a chat, to facilitate ease of use. Transactions incur zero added conversion costs on the bitcoin network. The built-in conversion system means that exchanges are calculated automatically, and payments can be made in the currency with precision and ease.
The launch comes at a crucial time when TransCrypt has added David Drake, founder and Chairman of LDJ Capital, to their Advisory Board to assist the company on its objectives and provide business consulting and profiling through strategic relationships.
Drake is actively involved in the crypto community as an advisor and speaker, advising a number of blockchain firms to help them successfully fundraise through their respective ICOs.
Nick Machulis, CEO of TransCrypt, said:
"Today, TransCrypt reaches the biggest milestone in the company’s history so far with the launch of its app. We’re set on a vision to provide access to the crypto market to as many people all over the world, and we’re proud in seeing that finally happen."
"We are delighted to welcome David Drake onto our Advisory Board. His deep understanding of distributed ledger technologies will be beneficial to TransCrypt and will assist us in attaining our strategic goals."
“We have exciting plans that will uncover our payments solution to people on various messaging platforms.”
David Drake, founder and Chairman at LDJ Capital, commented:
“TransCrypt represents the future of the crypto market that aims to provide access to as many people as possible. It allows to send and receive payments; making it quicker, more secure and seamless. I’m excited to work with the team on this innovative payments solution that will benefit the crypto community globally.”
TransCrypt also recently announced that Jon Matonis, founder of Bitcoin Foundation, has joined the company as an advisor to further support the business during the next phase of its growth.
