Five famous healthcare organizations, Humana, MultiPlan, Quest Diagnostics, and UnitedHealth Group’s Optum and UnitedHealthcare, have claimed in a statement their intention to set up a blockchain pilot program in order to improve data processing and decrease administrative spending.

In 2018, Gazprombank, the third largest bank in Russia by assets, is likely to perform its first pilot transactions using crypto coins as a means of payment. The incentive will be brought to life with the help of its subsidiary in Switzerland, said the deputy CEO, Alexander Sobol.

Coca-Cola Co., in collaboration with the U.S. State Dept and several other companies, is designing a blockchain-based fintech system, ensuring a secure registry for workers that will assist in the campaign against forced labor around all parts of the world.  

Blockchain marine system startup BoatPilot has recently announced their crowdsale, which the hard cap is set to 9,850,000 USD. The token event is for a real economy sector business. Starting their event April 1st, 2018. The funds raised in this TGE will be used to expand business dramatically. After successfully raising over 1,000,000 USD in their private sale.

On 22nd January 2018,  Propy Inc. (Palo Alto, California, USA) announced, that they had launched a pilot project to develop a global real estate conveyance management system and global real estate data model as a blockchain. The blockchain-based solution would revolutionize global real estate purchasing and registration processes worldwide, according to the company.

Energy trading giants including Eni Trading & Shipping, Total, Gazprom Marketing & Trading Limited, Mercuria, Vattenfall, Petroineos and Freepoint, are planning to use a blockchain-based system within the pilot European energy project for trading resources.

The Government of Ukraine plans to create a global property store and decentralized title registry to allow online real estate purchases by foreign investors for the first time. Pilot programs will be led by Ukraine’s Agency for E-Governance throughout the year 2018.

The National Bank of Ukraine is considering the possibility of issuing a digital national currency based on Blockchain technology.

R3 is not yet ready to accept Russian banks as members of the Blockchain consortium. The largest bank in Russia, Sberbank, wanted to join the R3 Blockchain consortium, however, R3 has made it clear that this application would be rejected due to sanctions.
